Sugarloaf Alliance sued Frederick County under the Maryland Public Information Access (MPIA) law in order to gain access to documents related to the county's discussions with Amazon Web Services regarding plans for data centers in and near the Sugarloaf Plan Area. The judge's decision required release of nearly all documents (access them here).
